| The
Kumon learning materials have been developed and improved over more than
40 years to ensure that every child progresses as smoothly as possible.
The Kumon curriculum consists of
Math and Reading
programs.
Math Program
The Kumon Math curriculum consists of 23 levels
ranging from learning to count (Level 7A) to college/university level
mathematics (Level Q). The program is broken down into very small steps,
each level containing 200 worksheets.
Students only move on when they have
demonstrated that they are entirely comfortable with a topic. Thus, a
'just right level' is maintained. Achievement Tests are conducted at the
end of each level to ensure mastery of level.
